The typical lesions of phrynoderma consists of huperkerarotic follicular and pigmented papules ,localised to the elbow s and knees. It can be taken as "evolving phrynoderma which in due course develops into typical lesions as secreted above .No need for Betot's spots to accompany every case of phrynoderma . Phrynoderma is an indicator to screen eyes for the lesions like betot's spots to dangerous keratomalacia ,a preventable cause of blindness. No harm in treating it as phrynoderma .
